Me and my boyfriend broke up but he still tells me he loves me?!?

ok so its a long story but i will try to shorten it as best as i can. so my ex boyfriend i guess you could say broke up with me a couple days ago. he isnt allowed to date and said he was breaking up with me because of his religion he is a jehovahs witness and they arent allowed to date and his mom wont either. everyone said i need to have a real relationship and not sneaking around trying to see each other. so we have been talking on the phone for the past couple of days and everything is fine and when we get off the phone he tells me that he loves me like he used to. and that kills me inside becuase then i start crying and idk if i should get back together with him or not because i do still love him but so many people would get mad because they want me to be able to have a real relationship and plus i am tired of sneaking around. so idk what to do im kinda cluless right now.
