Alrighty here it is worked at this hospital for 2yrs im now 8mths pregnant and have fmla and use it often cause i have a high risk pregnancy... One day i called in and said i would be late and the other girls dogged me out and were talking really badd about me and my FMlA and unborn child. So when i did make it in one my friends told me about it and later on i saw the girls and asked them did anyone have anything to say to me cause there seemed to be a lot of talikng going on this morning when i wasnt there.... Of course just like little girls no one had anything to say so i let it go and didnt speak to any of the four girls the rest of the day or the next week at all. I did talk to my supervisor about them discussing my FMLA and dogging me out and she said she would talk to the girls and get back with me.... So the following monday i go to work and im fired cause the girls said when i approached them about talking about me i cussed them out which is a bold face lie but it was 4 white girls and im black and my boss that fired me is white and also just took there word for it they are a clique who stick 2gether and im 8mths pregnant was about to take my leave in a few weeks and im totally screwed seems like. Also i use to be friends with them but, saw how fony they were and backed away.. oh no other witnesses besided myself and the four......

Should I elope and break a promise I made to my dad?

Well my fiance and I have been engaged for three years. Two years ago (at the age of nine-teen) I moved with my fiance from California to Illinois and promised my dad I'd get married in California. I was just looking for people who are or were Catholic who are or have studied the Jehovah's Witness doctrine. I just started studying with a Jehovah's Witness the last few weeks. What does this have to do with preachers, pastors and priests, specifically? First of all, this guy was not a priest. However, the fact that he is a clergyman is irrelevant. Plenty of people in many different walks of life who feel insecure and unimportant manufacture stories like this. Is that a reflection on their profession? Their nationality? Their ethnic origin? My school has that as well, but they won't necessarily pay you and they won't provide you with transportation. People don't work during the school hours, though. It's not a mandatory course, but many people choose to take it because it allows them to gain a bit of experience in a field that they're interested in. My girlfriend was at her house last night with her son when her ex husband showed up to pick up here son for the night. He told her that he has told her son that it is ok that he starts calling his new girlfriend mom. She reposnded back that she does not approve of it because she is her mom and no one else is. He got angry and rose his voice and said "You know I should set your straight sometimes for the things that you do!". His new girlfriend was standing right there and started to yell at my girlfriend. She asked them to leave because she didnt want any issues. They continued to yell and try and push their way into the house. She attempted to close the door but they pushed in and broke the screen door and pushed my girlfriend, she then pushed back. They ended up calling the police and told them that my girlfriend had attacked them by punching and ripping his shirt. He works in tree trimming and rippes his shirts everyday doing that. The cops believed what they said because she had no one that witnessed it. They had someone else drive over and take their son before the police showed up and they had him tell the police their story about her attacking them. She was charged with a class B misdemeanor for assault. She has no previous record of anything. He has a past of violence but sadly not recorded. What can she do? My sons father is taking me to court for SOLE CUSTODY!!?

I am 22 years old (full time mother) to a 2 and half year old beautiful boy. I am on welfare and have a nice apartment (not housing) and I also get support from my mother she has been buying me groceries for 2 and half years since my sons father refuses to pay child support. My sons father is 23 years old and has A lot of money, he has a lawyer and I don't and HE FILED COURT ON ME! We both have shared custody since we are both on the birth certificate. I am a stay at home mom, I have been taking care of my child and so has he but he started paying me $198 a month for about 5 months because my social worker demanded it. in October my sons father put my son in daycare Without My Consent!!! and stopped paying me child support all of a sudden!! I went to my social worker and they gave me a paper to show me how much he owes me in child support including the times hes missed and including INTEREST! My sons father makes me have him on the weekends now but I personally think he is doing this because his girlfirend (That he has cheated on me with when I was 7 and half months pregnant) Keeps telling him to take me to court and get SOLE custody and the court papers say he wants me to have supervised visits as if I'm some crack head or something (I DO NOT DO DRUGS) I am a good mother and take care of my son better then my sons father (his sisters and his girlfirned take care of my son and pick him up from day care since my sons father works 9-5 Job) when my son is with me he gets my FULL attention I am a young single beautiful mother and live on my own and make sure there is breakfast lunch and dinner on the table for my son at all times, I bath him at all times he is with me and take him with me everywhere i go when he is with me. I think God is contacting me through birds, is this possible?

When I'm in the kitchen of my house there are often birds chirping outside, sometimes very peaceful, other times there is a constant LOUD chirping when I'm doing things I probably shouldn't be doing. I am sure there is confusion, but I don't understand how the Mom doesn't know if the Dad is ON or OFF the boat (a 24ft boat) before the accident. She might have changed the story because she couldn't abide the thought of people thinking she ran over him, she clearly thought the story would not get out about her son hitting his Dad. But if she wanted to protect him, why change the story in the first place? Unless she couldn't stand the thought of people thinking she was the one at fault, which is consistent with her personality. Also, there was the matter of money. She lives for dinner parties at her home, which she loves to show off, she has more photos of her home than of her kids. Very materialistic, it's extremely likely that they had financial problems, due the amount going out & their business is the type to drop off in this economy. We just had a little flock of 6 abandoned ducklings. Since they were two days old, we fed them chopped spinach/grated carrots/and mashed boiled yolk til we were able to get a sack of Duckling Starter Crumbs. Since then, we fill the bottom of a small plate (8 1/2 cm diameter exactly). and feed them every day (often emptying and refilling once they get wet or soiled every two hours or so). But something struck us and made us realise what on earth we were doing was pretty reckless and rather stupid. We have no idea how much exactly to give as their daily portions. I felt very stupid when I accidentally hit the other vehicle from the front side while backing up in the parking lot. Don't say that it is for national security purposes because you can look at still satellite views online that are no more than a few months or weeks old. Meteorologists seem to have access to live satellite viewing. Why not the general public. If the image is loaded to a server that delays the images by a pre-programmed amount of time then any "sensitive" images can be blurred or deleted by whatever "watchdog" group is chosen to watch us watching. frontline is the best product i've used and i get it from my vet's office. use that instead, and also you can try bathing your cat if he or she will let you. they have plenty of shampoos for cats. if you don't want to buy the shampoo you could always get some sage, lavender, and mint leaves (all of which are natural flea repellents) and make a tea out of them and use that to bath your cat with. obviously let it cool first before bathing your cat. it works, i use it on my cats in the summer in between frontline applications. good luck!

Jehovah asked us to stay away from Babylon the Great so that we do not share in her plagues. I know that Jehovah's Witnesses do use Vines Expository for example in doing their translation work - which is from the clergy of other religions. As a linguist myself, I would search for linguistic evidence not in religious texts provided by the clergy of other sects of Christianity which have influenced the bible translation work greatly sadly. Who is Strong and what text does he quote to show that the word exousia can represent 'sign of authority' and not just 'an authority' or 'authority'? It seems clear to me looking at the Koine that 1 Cor 11:1-9 is about the headship arrangement and the fact that at that time the Corinthians had to cover their head as it was seen as shameful to some if they didn't and the woman had to listen to the 'authority' of her husband in that regard. Verse 10 simply says 'Therefore the woman has to have authority at her head for/by/because of the angels'. By adding in the words 'sign of' in modern Greek version as you can see at www.watchtower.org, you have taken away the double meaning intended in this scripture. The word 'dia' in Koine is exactly the same in meaning as 'por' in Spanish. The double meaning intended is that just as the woman has/accepts 'authority at her head' it is the same for the angels 'dia tous angelous' (this website is now preventing typing in Greek letters). This would be in Spanish 'Por lo tanto la mujer debe tener autoridad a la cabeza por los angeles'. Anyone who speaks Spanish will see what I mean. A lot of the Koine scriptures are clearly inspired by Holy Spirit and have such intended double meanings. Adding in words which aren't in the text does take away Jehovah's intended double meanings and is against Rev. 22:18-19. The man is head of the woman, but we are not to teach as doctrines the traditions of man - Jehovah's opinion is that she has her hair as a wrapping 1 Cor 11:10 - cross ref. 'wrapping' where the same Greek word is found at Heb. 1:12 and mistranslated as 'cloak'. See Mt 15:9. Also when women did prophesy something which was not according to his teaching and was without his consent and at the same time happened to be wearing headcoverings - look at what happened! - Ezekiel 13:17-21. I strongly suggest that Jehovah's Witnesses seek linguistic evidence of the meaning of words from the Koine texts themselves - by cross referencing and looking at the context within the bible in the original tongues and stop referring to advice from other clergy! I too can find other clergy who have translated this the same way as me, but that is not proper linguistic evidence as I can see that they have mistranslated the bible in other places - e.g. Joseph Fitzmyer (First Corinthians (electronic resource: a new translation with introduction and commentary). However I would disagree with Fitzmyer's use of the word 'churches' being used instead of 'congregations' in places (at a recent trip to Cambridge University Library - 400th anniversary of King James Bible I saw evidence of the British parliament intervening to ensure the word 'churches' was used in translation of the bible instead of 'congregations' which is wrong). Hence do you see why it is so important that you do not refer to other bibles or other clergy for proof of how words should be translators? If I am right in this are you not scared that your teaching might be idolatrous as this translation in my opinion originates with Catholicism and also the Church of England.

Chicken Help!! Any suggestions?

I have a chicken, probably around 2-3 yrs old, we got her and some of her buddies on the 4th of April. About a month ago, we introduced some new young birds, gradually, and now everyone is co-existing well. On Friday, I noticed my big girl Biggie, had her comb was discolored and laying on her head (usually is erect and a bright red), she seemed very slow, delayed reactions and very careful about where she stepped. She's way out of it. She is not eating, depressed like, stays to herself, not interested in her free time (not even when everyone sounds the worm alarm and they go nuts) she'll just stand or lay there, not interested. There has been a few times where I see her yawning (like she's trying to dislodge some thing, but she's not gaging or choking) and she occasionally has a goober of drool from her beak. Her breathing is rapid, and she has some runny stool, but its not clumped on her bottom and she is not herself at all. The young birds were de wormed 2x prior before introduction, and the big girls were de wormed 2x before the introduction and as an entire flock they were de wormed after introduction. My husband cleans the entire coop ever 2-3 days, they are fed crumble, oyster shells every day, and corn 1 to 2 x a week thrown out in their paddock where they have free time. They get free time in a controlled setting, and are allowed to forage for bugs and on grass. I don't think she is laying, she's hardly walking or eating. We separated her to prevent the other girls from picking on her. Any suggestions. I was leaning towards coccidosis, however, labored breathing doesn't fit into the symptoms, and sour croup, but she doesn't have a smell? Any suggestions. I've tried all the vets around here, and none of them see chickens and yest we are in a rural area! ={ They suggest butchering her to prevent contamination of the rest of the flock.... ok if I need to , but I will not do that yet, because I don't know what it is and no other birds are displaying any of her symptoms. Why do people like rude and loud people just because they are outgoing and fun?

I find it so weird that people automatically like somebody just because they are outgoing and confident, even if they are rude and insulting. The super nice way to describe them would be blunt, but there are so many rude people who don't care that they are being mean or hurt others, yet people still flock to them to be best friends. I'm not talking about people in highschool, but the people that are in college and continue through their life the same way. On the other hand, quiet and timid people are just totally ignored or seen as second priority. I know really quiet people and they always say that people think they're snotty because they don't say anything. Assault at work by another worker?

I was assaulted physically at work by another worker , have witnesses put letter of complaint into management , was told worker got final warning on there record, however now find out another complaint about verb-all assault ongoing, feel let down by management as I still feel worried at work the worker may assault me again , has a history of aggressiveness in workplace. Raising Backyard Chickens?

I just moved onto a 30 acre farm and live next to my landlord who has a portable chicken coop that he moves around his 'side' of the property where all the hens are free range. He is allowing me to get chickens and ducks (we also have a small pond). Since we are on a lease I cannot build a permanent coop, if I were to build a portable chicken coop would my chickens join his flock or would they stay in our yard? I only want 3 but I want the eggs to be on my side of the property and not in his coop :)

They all have pluses and minuses, so asking which one is better is hard to answer because it really depends on your personal preferences. I prefer Google Chrome. I have been using it for over two years and I really like it. The only thing I dislike is that it doesn't have a menu bar so when you want to print something you might struggle a little the first few times you do it. But other than that I like everything about it and I think it is faster than all the other browsers I have used. Keep in mind I have only used 5 of the browsers listed above.

Yes indeed.. My parents raised us kids with good manners and I continued this wonderful important skill with my daughter. Take "Thank You" for example. I had 4 stepkids and my daghter for 10 years. They didn't have manners. I cooked the dinner, served up the plates, actually took them to each child and held their plate until they said "thank you." I wasn't letting go of that plate till I heard (with eye contact) "thank you." It worked. I had done all the work and at the very least they could say "thank you." I was so proud when we visited others and they were so polite and used good manners. Manners need to be taught until the manners become a habit. After a certain age you can blame the older kids, but really, we only know what we know. I also insisted on "yes mam" and "no sir." It also became a habit. It is our job as parents to teach manners. They seem to be going by the wayside. Sad. Truly sad. And yes, I do still have good manners. As I said, good manners become a part of you, a habit. Yeah, with your Libra moon I'll bet you can't stand it when somebody eats with their mouth open. That grosses me out too though I have no Libra planets. The two manners I believe are most important are thank you and yes mam and no sir. Oh, another great thing to raise your children with is Proper English. Best friend lied and stole off me. What to do?

Extremely long story. I was at a party and I smoked weed and started hallucinating and losing it and wrecking the party. One of my good mates (guy who made the party) brought me up the stairs took me into a bedroom (looked after me for a while). There my best friend (of 5 yrs) apparently "stayed" in the room looking after me. Next morning, my $50 note was gone. I asked my best friend if he used it to buy Maccas for everyone, cause I remember people were eating Maccas. He said NO and started accusing my mate (the party starter) for taking the money and witnessed him having a $50 in his wallet and buying ciggies with it. I asked him if he drove my car to drop people off (he is on his L's and was drinking), he said NO. Found out my fuel was half gone and crums around the car. Next day one of my other mates admitted to using my car to drop people off and apologized sincerley. However my best friend still denied driving my car. Couple days later, we were chilling in my friends car (guy who made the party) and I asked him if he knew who stole my money. He said he knew and that it was a friend that stole my money and that he would never tell me because it will make things worse. My best friend who happened to be in the car, started to buckle and choke and started accusing my mate why he was getting the blame and that he was a dog c*nt for accusing him etc (in short it looked like he knew he did it and couldn't handle the pressure so he lashed out). I also found out from my mate (and several others) that my best friend took my car out for 3 Maccas runs, had a joy ride (with alcohol in his system) and LET a drunk 14 yr old with no license drive it (I was also told that the 14 yr old nearly crashed my car 4 times). My mate (party starter) also said things which were true - my best friend didnt bring money to the party, he witnessed my bestie holding a lot of cash (change from the $50 possibly?) and that he pretty much shouted everyone Maccas (my best friend is on the dole, lives on housing commission and suffers financially, he never shouts anything). I confronted my best friend after this argument calmly and with no swearing or voice raising, he responded by swearing and telling me off and how he looked after me all night and would never do such thing and that the money used for Maccas was from people chipping in. I also asked other party goers that night and one said that my best friend would do no such thing and that he chipped in small change for Maccas. However I talked with my mate (the party starter) and he was 100% certain he took the money and that 'looking after you all night' doesn't mean sh*t. What do I do in this situation?
